It is really extraordinary and Spielberg did it. He made dinosaurs come back to life so real, as real it can get. No suprise that first movie won 3 Oscar awards, and second The Lost World was nominated for one.I remember myself glued to TV monitor waiting dinosaurs to appear, and when they did, it was all worth waiting, they were so real. Story also is great, theme park of such an exclusive objects, breaks apart and been taken over, when people become so little in their new world!
Third movie, was watchable, but the real thing I can remember by it was actor Sam Neill, nothing realy special, director John Johnson. But the year 2015 release of the fourth movie Jurasic World, was so awaited and ofcourse great by big creatures alive again. Big brake also for director Colin Trevorrow, his second feature film. But story sucks - so cliche and seen over and over. One hero, lost with kids looking for woman to fall in love, and by the way dinos running around, and one of them a new species, more dangerous, more faster and smarter. After Jurassic World, I better stayed in Jurassic Park....

In 1977 George Lucas made first Star Wars movie A new hope! Making of first movie faced many problems and also producers believed that it would not be something special, they were so wrong! Star Wars became an epic pop culture phenomenon. It made billions of dollars! And all thanks to its maker George Lucas,
who by the way wasn't a director of Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, but he participated in story writing. First movie won 6 Oscar awards, second movie directed by Irvin Kershner won 2 Oscar awards.
Now all fans around the world waits for seventh movie directed by J.J Abrams (Super 8, Mision Impossible 3) Let the force be with it!...Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07978895233206763586noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4218608538493265972.post-82465208651295052622015-09-17T06:43:00.002-07:002015-09-17T09:39:48.169-07:00A man with a style - Quentin Tarantino

When Tarantino drop out of acting school he claimed that he knows better how to do thing, well I have to say he does! Quentin Tarantino is a man with a style. Everyone of his movies has his talented writing, no ordinary plots, lots of twists and fun dialogs, lots of blood, which makes his movies cool. He is one of those independent directors who goes his own way, and does it very good. His first movie Reservoir dogs, was made on low budget, and it was a key to success, Quentin said that he would make this film anyway, even without money. And his next major success Pulp Fiction, even won a Palme d'Or, it changed all his life. I personaly love Quentins filming style, using lot of long shots and interesting camera angels, his attention is on actors and characters he made.
Inglorious Basterds is just kicking ass with multi-language dialogs and plot with great unexpected twists, bringing out great acting of Christhop Waltz and Brad Pit. Django Unchained shows whole different story, from other tarantino movies, but with the same Tarantino style! I think audience can wait for next movie The Hatefull Eight, well I definetly cant...

I admire James Cameron, I really do. To come up with such a crazy ideas and make them work. He is one of the best directors in the world, 21 Oscar awards speak for themselfs.
Camerons started in art deparment, then his first major sucess movie Terminator - not waited to be so good, then almost drowned making The Abyss in giant water tank. Most hated by crew in Aliens, but getting first Oscars with it. Getting so close to Titanic as audience can feel its cold water, and changing the world of movie making by Avatar! Now in pre-production of next Avatar movies, and its known that Cameron is great with sequels.
Cameron is also an explorer and have made few documentaries as Ghost of The Abyss, Aliens of the Deep.
Cameron is known also as selfish, cruel and unkind person to work with. Some are calling it raising a bar, some call it very passionate and care only about his movie, some call it misunderstood genius, I call it 21 Oscars...

Directors of Terminator movies

It was a James Cameron who came up with idea about killing machine from future, send back to past. Movie was wated to be nothing special, Cameron prove them wrong making first one an absolute revolution, and wining 4 Oscars with Judgment Day! Does Schwarznegger by saying "I'll be back" meant to say in next not so good movies?Alright., third movie made by Jonathan Mostow wasn't so bad, maybe thanks to kick-ass sexy Terminator-woman, and letting Judgment Day realy happen. Fourth movie Salvation by McG, was not realy as we though the Camerons made future will be, but good enough to watch it one time, dont know why? Maybe because of Bale?

And this years very waited Genisys was not a dissapointment. It took fans to a diferent and interesting journey, ignoring movies after Judgment Day.It was inteeresting to see new characters and different twist of things to come. I would say well done Alan Taylor, who is actually more of a TV series guy, for example 6 episodes of Sex and The City, Woow.! He made Thor:Dark world also....

I think so far the best Ron Howard work as a director A Beautiful mind, written by Akiva Goldsman and Sylvia Nasar. A story of John Forbes Nash Jr. and his great mind, so great that he saw more than ordinary people. The question is - was a paranoia caused by his great mind, or it was just his fate to get sick!

Extraordinary story about peoples unlimited possibilities, strond love and humans fate. Also a great way to show how paranoia looks... Ron Howard has alsos made great movies like Rush (2013), Apollo 13 (1995), The Da Vinci Code (2006) and others.
Also movie won a four Oscar awards!

Ending of Vinterbergs great drama Hunt blows my mind, first I was thinking about it for a long time, even for a couple of days after watching, my question was - whats the message behind it. The story is great about innocent lie that almost destroys a mans life - brutal, hard story. But this ending...
I was glued to the screen last minutes of the movie, I felt that something bad is going to happen, and it did. But not he way I expected, it raised a lot of questions and versions, it was great open ending...
My version - obviously it was't an accident, it was a warning, a message that people will not forget...
Like You won't forget this great movie for a long time after watching it....

Thanks to director Christopher Nolan, who not only brought Batman back, but made it way more better. The Dark Knight is an Everest of dramatic and tense story, bringing up one of the most memorable bad guys in comic book stories - Joker. And you are asking why Batman are so serious about that.

All of Nolan movies have this great great meaning behind it. Stories never goes one direction, and they are not predictable. Nolan takes you by the heart and soul, and will not let you go, even when movie ends, you will still think about it for a long time, and its great message.

All Alien movies are great!!! Ok, not all of them! But directors standing behind every one of them are great. We all should say thanks to Ridley Scoot for coming up with an idea, we all should say thanks to James Cameron, (a name speaks for himself) for making it better with a second movie. And then there's great David Fincher (known for Social Network, Se7en, Fight Club) who came and pissed Cameron off by killing survivors of the sequel, shaving Ripley bald and also killing her, ok alien baby killed her, but still...

And we should really say thank to Jean-Pierre Jeunet for bringing Ripley back in Alien Resurrection, this movie wasn't so bad.

By the way there are rumors going around that 5th movie will be directed by Neill Blomkamp, he is maker of Distric 9 and Chappie, and it will ignore Alien 3 and Alien Ressurection. Will Fincher and Jeunet will be pissed off? I wouldn't...
